Celtic Connections confirmed; Tour of UK, Sweden and Denmark Jan. 26-Feb. 7

We are thrilled to be appearing at Glasgow's famous Celtic Connections festival in January! We'll be doing at least two shows plus all-night jamming and a likely festival club appearance. On Jan. 29 we'll be opening up for Imelda May at the ABC and on Jan. 30 we'll be headlining at the Classic Grand with openers the Bevvy Sisters.

We'll also be on tour in Europe from Jan. 26 to Feb. 7, starting in Scotland and ending in Denmark. We'll be putting those dates up on our MySpace page soon. The lineup for the tour includes Mike Barnett on fiddle, Stash Wyslouch on guitar, Sam Grisman on bass, and Greg Liszt on vocals and banjo.

Our tour in Colorado is underway! We had a great night at the legendary Aspen Meadows House Concert last night, and we've got four more shows out here before heading to California. For this run we've got the incomparable Billy Contreras on fiddle; Sam Grisman on bass; and Dominick Leslie on mandolin. Stash Wyslouch will be joining us on guitar in California. Tour of Colorado and California Aug. 19-28

Even though we may never fully return to normal after our adventures at the Roskilde Rock Festival and the Rudolstadt World Music Fest, we are preparing for our first tour of CO and CA. It all culminates with our Aug. 28 show in Berkeley, CA at the new Freight and Salvage with the legendary David Grisman Quintet.

Tour of Europe in June and July

We're getting excited for our second-ever tour of Europe. We'll be playing the legendary Roskilde Rock Festival in Denmark, as well as the tremendous Rudolstadt World Music Festival in Germany. We'll also be playing several other shows in Denmark before Roskilde.

We're also setting up tours in Colorado and California in August, more details TBA.

We had an AMAZING tour of Denmark, and we're gearing up for a blowout at this year's International Folk Alliance in Memphis, TN. We're going to be hosting a private showcase room at the Marriott Hotel featuring lots of great bands such as the Belleville Outfit, the Boulder Acoustic Society, the Boston Boys, Red Molly, and many others TBA.

Our own shows at Folk Alliance will feature the mind-blowing Billy Contreras on fiddle. Mike Barnett will be playing at Wintergrass with Tony Trischka that weekend.

The Bastard Masterpiece, our debut CD, is officially available! You can get order the CD from CD Baby or download the whole album from our site.

And thanks to all who came to our first round of CD release shows. We're planning runs in June and August, as well as many more dates in the fall.


CD release shows in NYC, Boston, and Northampton, MA coming up

The Bastard Masterpiece will be officially available starting on May 9. That's the date of our first show in New York, NY. There will also be another NYC show, as well as shows at the Iron Horse in Northampton, MA (May 11) and Club Passim in Cambridge, MA (May 13). Check the shows page for more details.

And until then, the album is still available for immediate download on this site as part of a promotional pre-release.

Our debut album The Bastard Masterpiece is now exclusively available for digital download here in advance of its spring 2008 release. We really want everyone to have it, so we're offering a very big discount.

This album features Greg Liszt (Bruce Springsteen; Crooked Still) on banjo and vocals; Josh Pinkham (Frank Vignola Quintet) on mandolin; Michael Barnett (Jesse McReynolds; Tony Trischka) on fiddle; and Sam Grisman (David Grisman Bluegrass Experience) on doublebass.
