COLORADO — Festival season is here! We are happy to be kicking off our summer tour out in Colorado, Dominick’s home state. We are playing tonight (Friday, June1) at Avogadro’s Number in Fort Collins, a co-bill with fabulous Eli West and Cahalen Morrison. We are huge fans of theirs, and we were lucky enough to tour Germany with them for several weeks last winter. We will be doing another co-bill show with Eli and Cahalen on Thursday, June 7 at the Walnut Room in Denver.
In the meantime, this Sunday, June 3, we’re playing a very special show at the Aspen Meadows house concert series in Nederland, CO. This is a wonderful place to see an intimate show, and the last time we played there was Dominick’s first gig with the Deadly Gentlemen! There is still room on the list if you RSVP soon.
Then we are off to the Pagosa Folk ‘N’ Bluegrass Festival, whose fabulous lineup includes our friends in Lake Street Dive as well as excellent bands ranging from the Phoebe Hunt Project to Mountain Heart to SHEL. Everybody should know about this wonderful festival!
After all that we’re on to California for the Grass Valley Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival and the CBA Music Camp. We have also just added a house concert in Bear Valley on Saturday, June 16. See our shows page for details.
